's office did confirm with us that in fact a 16-year-old girl from south san francisco was shot. she's in stable condition this morning. and it all stems from a shooting, as you said that's correct happened late last night about 10:30 right across the street from the high school in this relatively quiet milbrae neighborhood. let's get to you the video we have from the scene last night. we are here at santa theresa and park boulevard. police were combing the area for more than an hour searching for the shooter and police aren't saying whether they have anybody in custody. initial reports are the girl was shot in her abdomen and thigh. we can't get that confirmed but within the last 30 minutes the public information officer from the sheriff's office confirmed with us indeed a 16-year-old girl was shot and she is in stable condition. that's the latest from milbrae. kira klapper, abc7 news. >> we are glad the girl is doing okay. thank you, kira. >>> oakland police are investigating a shooting that has left two people injured. police respond today 68th avenue and mcarthur boulevard around

is steps away from where kevin collins disappeared in 1984. >> reporter: san francisco police are expected to release the name and the photo of the man who used to live in this house on masonic. he is longer alive but was a person of interest in the kevin collins. he was questioned after kevin vanished. he had an allah lib by -- alabi. the medical examiner believes the remains that they did found here are that of an animal. the last person kevin collins was talking to was a tall blond man with a big dog -- big dog. the man described like that used to live here. the dogs were never used in the initial search. so that's they came back. >> i just hope there's closure for the family members. very sad story. >> reporter: neighbors we talk to say the school kevin attended st. agnes never recovered after the disappearance, closing a few years later. >> right after that, st. agnes started to pull some of their children out of the school. >> it's concerning. >> reporter: this morning, neighbors are really just amazed that this case has resurfaced. kevin's mother says she feels numb and doesn't know

. the announcement came friday night from the san francisco district attorney's office. they say the police department's investigation is complete and that no charges will be filed against crabtree at this time. crabtree was accused of assault after an alleged incident at a san francisco hotel the morning of january the 13th. >> the 49ers released this statement, stating " we are pleased to learn of the san francisco district attorney's announcement following a thorough review of the matter. michael and the team cannot put this behind us and 04. . the investigation into why an empty oil tanker hit the bay bridge continues this morning in san francisco. it hit the western span of the bay bridge late yesterday morning. the impact did not damage the bridge but ripped off a part of the fender there to protect the tower. the coast guard will now interview the pilot and guy kleess this morning. he did pass an alcohol test and a drug test. those results now are pending. according to the mercury news, kleess has a spotty history. state records show back in 2009 he ran a cargo ship aground in the sacramento shipping channel and crashed a cargo ship into a catwalk near stockton in 2010. he was found at fault when a tug boat he was sailing ran aground in richmond inner harbor. right now let's get a check on the tuesday forecast. christina loren here just a lot of fog. >> someone turned the fog machine on this morning. good morning to you, jon. good morning to you at home. hard to believe but this is actually 280 in san jose now santana row. people having to slow down because of the thick fog. quarter of a mile visibility in concord. half mile in live

, everybody. i'm jon kelley. this morning san francisco police continue the search for a man wanted for dousing his girlfriend with gasoline and setting her on fire. they say 22-year-old dexter oliver attacked her yesterday afternoon near the intersection of hollister and jennings in the city's bay view district. 25-year-old star lamar now in critical condition in the burn unit at st. francis hospital. she has severe burns to her face and her chest. family members say oliver became enraged when lamar told him their relationship was over. >> saw him pour gasoline in a bottle and he left. i didn't know he was going to burn her. >> police say oliver is 5'10", 155 pounds and has a haircut with a lightning bolt on one side of his head and a fish design on the other. >>> right now let's get a check on your monday morning forecast. for that we'll say good morning to christina loren. >> good morning to you, jon. good morning to you at home. a cold start to the day. also that thick fog is back. fog is at the thickest point. by 9:00, moderate fog across the greater bay area. between 9:00 and

, leading up to that i met him in san francisco. he was doing a book tour. one of my lawyers said we got a guy who is going to be president. i said no way. i don't think so, man. anyway, he was going a bookstore. he said, when you get to chicago i would like to have a little talk with you. so when i get to chicago i call him on the phone. he came and he spent an hour with me at the hotel that he was staying at. he said--he didn't even tell me he was running. i found out later that he was running for president. i doesn't think he had a chance to be president. so now when i he got in to be president i asked jeff, could you ask the president the only thing i haven't been on is air force one. so the white house called me, as you well know. they said, you have clearance to go on air force one. but you have to go to detroit. so i had to fly to detroit. stay overnight. get up at 4:00 in the morning. yeah, you guys do that all the time. i had to get up at 4:00 in the morning, and they drive me to a base. i don't know where it was. to a base. but i found out he was going to go to a college somewh
